A Year End Note- 2015

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

This year closes with us being a family of four. Eleanor was the big news this year; joining us on July 29th. Izzy is a great big sister and has become a very special little friend for Eleanor; frequently dancing and singing for her. Izzy had several other highlights this year including her first dance class and summer camp, first boat trip at OBX, and her first all girls trip to Denver with her Aunt Sue, Meemaw (Emily's mom), and mom. She had a chance in June and Aug to hang out with all of her Warner cousins (9). She is doing great and is impressing us every day with her ability to go with the flow and make friends where ever she goes.

Travis is continuing to explore his creativity and passion for balance. He has almost become a slackline professional and recently has ventured into the unicycle community. His goal: unicycle on a slackline. It's been a great exercise for him (mentally and physically) and has gotten him in shape for his first 5K (Girls On The Run, Dec. 6) since his heart surgeries. Speaking of which, this year, Team Travis (Pittsburgh Congenital Heart Walk) had its' biggest turn out at the walk and also raised the most money yet.

Emily is adjusting to becoming a mom of two and balancing work and play. She couldn't be happier having both girls, a great job recruiting (2 years- with the best flexible schedule), and continuing to be a coach with Girls On The Run. She's taken up photography again-- living behind the camera capturing life's little moments and nature still life's-- 2016 may even see some family and pet photography business ventures. Emily's always a dreamer!

We started the spring with a quite weekend together, just Travis and Emily, at Niagara Falls. It was a memorable trip and just what we needed before the house got crazy with a little baby! We've become a part of the Sewickley community and have really enjoyed feeling part of it and all the festivities is has to offer. The four-legged family members are doing great too! Dixie is now 6, Kole 12, Phillip, 4, and Rags 10.

2015 marked a few big 5-year anniversaries: Travis at EQT, us in our house, and our wedding.
